Having been in energy industry I understand principles of the upstream (oilprice) the impact of supply chain politics and overall demand for oil based products.

Using those principles Anglo American is a mining company which invested in operations for minerals. The basics being metals which go into tech companies which are growing.

Ignoring the late investment, following my gut on principles this stock is the one that holds my portfolio together and has had the highest return

Failed investment experience

Dont trust others for your investment

As the only female in my family to invest I started to have conversations with my brother in law's about stocks to invest. They gave me insights on a tech company to invest in. This stock dropped 200% within 2 months and never recovered.

The risk profile and behaviour was quick high rate investment - my strategy is to stay the long run and not look at stocks as a daily job but instead work for me in the background.

In an area I don't know. Although I invest in technology, I had no idea of the foundations of the portfolio. 1. It's not diverse and so my investment risk isn't spread across several assets. 2. I don't really know anything about this technology in principle and I don't actually have interest. There is no information out there and so I don't learn anything from this
