About Me

Why I joined WIC

Hello! I've worked in SaaS my entire career, first at an executive-search-turned-VC firm (alongside incredible founders and their other VC investors). I then transitioned to an early stage startup, joining as the 5th teammate. I've always been fascinated by the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and the ways in which people transform their dreams into real products that affect others' lives.

I want to become more involved with actually empowering those founders to chase their ambitions through early-stage investment, but I want to learn from the experience of others. I love the idea of a knowledgeable community of women empowering each other to get involved.

Additionally, my career has been spent as the only woman in the room of investor meetings, and catering to powerful clients who are overwhelmingly men. Although I know that the tide is turning on representation both at the executive level and in investing, I feel very passionately about women occupying the same seats as men traditionally have. I love that this community represents a knowledge base upon which to grow into that.

Other things about myself

Although I'm early on in my career, and new to the world of investment, I'm very passionate about educating myself about the topic (specifically in early stage SaaS, which is where I have observed the rationale for countless investments being made). I'm eager to learn from others but also feel that I have some industry knowledge to contribute!
